The HPE Networking Instant On Secure Gateway SG1004 is a compact router and firewall for small offices, shops and branch sites with internet connections below 1 Gbps. Setup and monitoring are done from the Instant On app or web portal, and the security features need no additional licence.

• One Gigabit WAN port, one configurable WAN/LAN port and two Gigabit LAN ports • Stateful firewall, routing and IDS/IPS rated at 980 Mbps; IPsec VPN at 930 Mbps • Site-to-site and client VPN for connecting staff and other Instant On sites • WAN failover and load balancing with two active links; TPM 2.0 • Up to 100 users, 16,384 concurrent sessions and 22 VLANs

The compact enclosure weighs about 1 kg, draws at most 12 W from its included external adapter and can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall.
