The ThinkSystem SR650 V4 is Lenovo's general-purpose 2U workhorse for Intel Xeon 6 processors. The extra height buys room for large storage pools, GPUs and many add-in cards, making it a common choice for virtualisation, databases, software-defined storage and AI inference.
This quick-ship model includes one Intel Xeon 6505P (12 cores, 2.2 GHz, 150 W) and a 16 GB TruDDR5 RDIMM. With a second CPU the system supports 32 DIMMs and up to 8 TB of memory.
