The ThinkEdge SE455 V3 is built for places that are not data centres: factory floors, retail stores, telecom sites and branch closets. Its chassis is only about 440 mm deep, mounts in two-post or four-post racks, and keeps its I/O ports and PCIe slots at the front for easy access.

This model runs a 16-core AMD EPYC 8124P (2.45 GHz, 125 W) from the power-efficient EPYC 8004 family, with 32 GB of TruDDR5 memory installed and six DIMM slots for up to 768 GB.
