This Pluggable Interface Module brings 5G standalone (SA) connectivity to Cisco routers with a PIM slot. Unlike NSA-only modules, it can attach to 5G core networks directly, which is what private 5G and newer carrier SA services require, and it still works on non-standalone networks.

Cisco lists the module for Catalyst 8200 and 8300 routers, ISR 1000 PIM-slot models and its industrial IoT routers (ESR6300, IR1101, IR1800, IR8140, IR8340). It is a global PID covering the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Antennas are not included.
