Cisco 8111-G2-MX Cloud-Managed Secure Router (Meraki MX)

The Cisco 8111-G2-MX is a desktop secure router that runs Meraki MX software, giving small branches a firewall, SD-WAN edge and VPN gateway that is configured entirely from the Meraki dashboard.

Security services include IDS/IPS, content filtering and malware protection, alongside traffic shaping, NetFlow, syslog and remote packet capture. The unit measures 34 x 143 x 273 mm, weighs 0.87 kg, can sit on a desk or mount on a wall, and is powered by a 150 W external adapter.

A Meraki licence is required to operate it. Cisco lists a two-year hardware warranty (one year on accessories).
